Manchester United midfielder Fred has told Cristiano Ronaldo what he thinks of his new waxwork at Madame Tussauds in brilliant fashion.
Ronaldo got to see the piece of art ahead of the World Cup before it was officially unveiled to the public in New York. He shared a video of the figure on Instagram, in which he appeared on giant outdoor screens to introduce the waxwork.
Manchester United announced on Tuesday afternoon that Ronaldo is leaving the club with immediate effect. The club said: "Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect. The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future."

Ronaldo unexpectedly took part in a Portugal press conference on Monday, where he declared he was “bulletproof” and “wears an iron suit” in regards to criticism. He accused the media of twisting the agenda on certain stories, including his awkward meeting with Bruno Fernandes which he insisted was part of a “joke”.
“In my life, the best timing is always my timing. I don't have to think about what other people think. I speak when I want,” he said. “Stop asking my team-mates about me.
“If you ask other players about Cristiano Ronaldo, I would be upset. If you want to ask them about the World Cup and the team, I would like you to do that.”
Indeed both club and country teammates have been asked about Ronaldo since his extraordinary outbursts, with Joao Mario, Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof all fielding questions about him over the past week.
Fred has not yet been one of them, but his Instagram comment seems to indicate he is still on good terms with the striker. Reacting to Ronaldo’s Instagram video of the unveiling of his waxwork, the Brazilian commented: “I need one of these at home,” with a loveheart-eyes emoji.
