Cristiano Ronaldo's reaction to receiving an Arsenal shirt from Piers Morgan has resurfaced after the TV presenter called for the Gunners to sign the Manchester United star.
Ronaldo was at his devastating best on Saturday, scoring a hat trick to save United's blushes against Norwich City. His free kick in front of the Stretford End sealed a 3-2 victory for the Reds who had led 2-0 before goals from Kieran Dowell and Teemu Pukki had pegged them back.
Arsenal meanwhile stuttered once again in the Premier League, this time away at Southampton. A Jan Bednarek strike just before the break was enough to secure a victory for the hosts.

The Gunners had their chances but could not find the back of the net leading to their third straight defeat and United leapfrogging them in the table. Taking to Twitter post-match, Morgan renewed his call for his beloved club to sign the 37-year-old.
He posted: "Arsenal should sign Ronaldo this summer. I am deadly serious.
"That would solve our striker problem and help me move on from [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang. I've already sorted Cristiano a shirt."
Morgan was of course referring to an interview he did with the star back in 2019. After referencing that he nearly joined the North London side before signing for United while he was still at Sporting, Ronaldo was handed a Gunners shirt with Ronaldo, 7 on the back.
On receiving the gift, the 37-year-old said: "Ok Piers, I am so… I want to apologise… ok, forgive me for not joining Arsenal. It didn’t happen, but Arsenal, I appreciate what they did for me, especially Arsene Wenger, but football you never know where you are going to play, life is like that.
"But I appreciate Arsenal because it is a fantastic club and you support Arsenal. And now you support Juventus."
Ronaldo would eventually leave the Serie A club to move back to Old Trafford this summer and has since scored 21 goals in 35 appearances. United travel to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday in what will be a huge match in regards to the race for the top four.
Before that fixture, Ronaldo and his teammates will travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool in a game which will also have permutations on the title race. Victory for Ralf Rangnick's men would move them level on points with Tottenham Hotspur.
