Cristiano Ronaldo was wrong to snub the Manchester United fans following Tuesday night's draw with Burnley.
That's according to Ally McCoist, who has reminded the Portugal international that fans travelled a long way at great expense to support him and his teammates.
Ronaldo stormed off the pitch after United threw away two points against the Premier League's basement dwellers and headed straight down the tunnel without acknowledging the fans.
Some of his teammates, on the other hand, stuck around to clap the supporters who travelled.
"I do feel he should be acknowledging the fans. That should always be done," McCoist told the talkSPORT Breakfast Show.

"The travelling fans in particular, certainly in my experience, can be the more vocal of your team's support and they travel long distances and spend an awful lot of money.
"I can understand that sometimes the overall disappointment of defeat getting to you and just wanting to get off the park.
"However, I think you should always go over to your travelling support and give them a thank you."
This isn't the first time Ronaldo has stormed off down the tunnel since returning to Man United.
And his actions are somewhat disappointing considering a statement he made about the Red Devils fans in 2017.
While at Real Madrid, Ronaldo spoke out in frustration at Los Blancos supporters booing and whistling at him whenever something minor went wrong.
He explained at the time that this never happened at United.
Ronaldo said on La Sexta show 'Jugones' in 2017: "I have a lot of patience, but I don't like it. I can not say it's normal, I do not like it.
"Being criticised in my stadium isn't normal and when I give one hundred per cent and things do not come out, they are whistling. I need the extra support from outside and sometimes we do not have it.
"In Manchester, it never happened to me, as the mentality is different. I am delighted in Spain but I have Manchester in my memory [as well]."
Ronaldo has received a similar level of support from Manchester United fans during his second stint at the club, and his reaction at Turf Moor does little to acknowledge this fact.
Ralf Rangnick's biggest problem at Old Trafford is the lack of unity in the dressing room, and players keeping the fans on side will go a long way to improving the atmosphere at United and eventually results.
