Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't believe Ralf Rangnick is at the level to manage a team like Manchester United, according to reports.
The Red Devils are struggling for form in all competitions, drawing their last two Premier League matches at home to Southampton and away at basement dwellers Burnley after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship outfit Middlesbrough.
As results continue to go against United on the pitch there are reports of increasing problems behind the scenes.
And now Rangnick is faced with an issue that Ronaldo is said to be at the heart of as question marks over the German's ability to get United into a stable position before handing over to the next boss, have been raised.

According to AS, Ronaldo doesn't rate Rangnick as a world-class coach and doesn't think he has the ability to transform the Red Devils into a Manchester City or Liverpool.
Rangnick recently spoke out about Ronaldo, suggesting he and his teammates need to be more decisive in front of the goal.
"It's not just about Cristiano Ronaldo. He should score more goals, it's obvious," said Rangnick. "I think we're creating enough scoring plays, but it's not just Ronaldo's problem, it's all attacking players. We didn't score enough goals."
Rangnick's comments, and his decision to specifically namedrop Ronaldo, are said to have angered the Portugal international even more, the report by AS explains.
As a result, Ronaldo's relationship with Rangnick is said to be fractured, which is a huge blow for the German, who is struggling to win over the Man United squad.
A recent report by ESPN highlighted the problems apparent during United training sessions, with Rangnick's number two Chris Armas responsible for large sections.
United stars are said to be miffed by this piece of delegation, given the fact that Armas has never coached outside of North America and his one stint as a boss, with Toronto FC, was far from a success.
Rangnick blamed his side's lack of composure for throwing two points away against Southampton on the weekend after the Red Devils took the lead through Jadon Sancho.
"We lost a bit of composure, took the wrong decisions and this is where we have to get better," explained Rangnick. "Whenever we prepared the team, we have had an excellent first half-hour like today but have to do it for longer."
United face Brighton on Tuesday night looking for a first Premier League victory in three fixtures.
