Cristiano Ronaldo has shook Manchester United and Old Trafford to their cores over recent days with a series of controversial comments.
The Portuguese international was at the heart of a shocking interview with Piers Morgan and shared a number of his outspoken views on Erik ten Hag, the Glazer family, Wayne Rooney and much more. Whilst his initial comments have caused controversy, the 37-year-old’s bombshells continue with more snippets of the interview continuing to be teased by Morgan ahead of the full-length broadcast.
With that being said, here are the latest comments from Ronaldo, as well as further response from elsewhere.
Old Trafford chiefs left fuming
Ronaldo has reportedly left a number of senior officials at Man Utd furious with a couple of outlandish allegations in his controversial interview.
During the one-on-one chat with Morgan, he claimed that he felt he was being “forced out" of the club, whilst it was also suggested that he was left taken aback by the lack of investment at the Red Devils’ Carrington Training Base.
Those comments have left some of the United hierarchy angry with reports suggesting they believed that Ronaldo and his representatives were among those pushing more for a move, whilst various developments have been completed at the club’s training ground.

Ferdinand blames United for Ronaldo outburst
Since Ronaldo’s interview with Morgan, some have been trying to work out just why he has gone down that route. Former Red Devils’ defender Rio Ferdinand believes a lack of communication at Old Trafford could be a prime reason in an impassioned argument with ex- Liverpool star Jamie Carragher.
Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, he said: “You’ve got to communicate with somebody. You can’t sit there and say ‘I’m going to bring you on for two minutes, have that, have two minutes’.”
Carragher replied: “Rio, he’s bang in the wrong. This thing about communication, he wanted to leave, what’s the communication?”
Ronaldo takes aim at Glazers
With Ten Hag, Rooney, Gary Neville and many more having been the target of criticism from Ronaldo, it was only a matter of time before the controversial Glazer family were the topic of discussion by Ronaldo.
He has claimed that the American’s “do not care” about the Red Devils and were only interested in a marketing opportunity following their big-money takeover in 2005.
The Portuguese said: “The Glazers, they don't care about the club. I mean, professional sport, as you know this, Manchester is a marketing club. They will get its money from the marketing - the sport, it's, they don't really care, in my opinion.”
