Cristiano Ronaldo has already started planning his wedding to long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez, Spanish media say.

The Manchester United footballer admitted in his girlfriend’s recent Netflix documentary he was “1000 per cent certain” he would end up trying the knot with the Spanish beauty.

Reports on Wednesday in Spanish showbiz and sports websites said the couple now had more bills to pay because of their preparations for their big day.

Respected Spanish digital newspaper OK Diario said: “They have extra spending because they are preparing their marriage.

“Cristiano has found his perfect partner in Georgina and has asked her for her hand in marriage, although they haven’t yet revealed the date of the ceremony.”

The wedding reports emerged as a Catalan news website claimed Cristiano, 37, gives £83,000 each month to Georgina to pay for their children’s upkeep including their private school fees.

The 28-year-old influencer has a four-year-old daughter called Alana Martina with the footballer and also treats his three children born to surrogate mothers - Cristianinho Jr, 12; and Eva and Mateo, both four, as her own.

Her focus at the moment is on making sure she looks after herself and her unborn twins, a boy and a girl, in the final stages of her pregnancy.

But if the Spanish reports about their upcoming wedding are accurate, she is expected to throw herself full-steam into making sure everything is in place for the day they tie the knot once the newborns are a few weeks old.

Cristiano, whose future at Manchester United remains uncertain, committed to marrying his girlfriend-of-six-years in hit Netflix show ‘I Am Georgina’, which was released on February 27 to coincide with the pretty brunette’s 28th birthday.

He said: “I always tell Georgina that when we get that click, like everything with our life and she knows what I’m talking about.

“It could be in a year, or it could be in six months or in a month. I’m 1000 per cent sure it will happen.”

Georgina admitted in the documentary she is waiting for her partner to pop the question.

She included the admission in a clip for the show which she posted on Instagram at the start of the year.

Asked in Spanish while she travelled with friends on Cristiano’s private jet when she was going to marry the dad-of-four, Georgina confessed: “It doesn’t depend on me” before adding: “I wish.”

Cristiano’s mum was very complementary about her son’s partner in a recent interview she gave in her homeland.

The Madeira-based mother-of-four told presenter and comedian Guilherme Geirinhas: “Georgina is a great support to Cristiano, no doubt about it.”

Dolores, 67, has described Georgina as her future “daughter-in-law” in interviews in the past.

She said in 2018 of the former shop worker: “She is the mother of my grand-daughter. She is a future daughter-in-law. She’s not my daughter-in-law yet. She’s a future daughter-in-law. She’s a very calm person.”
