Cristiano Ronaldo has been bluntly reminded of the promise he made to the youngsters at Manchester United after he stormed off the pitch against Burnley.
The frustrated 37-year-old forward made a sudden beeline for the tunnel the moment the final whistle was blown at Turf Moor on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo was angry that Manchester United had thrown away two points against the Premier League's basement dwellers, but was criticised for failing to acknowledge the travelling fans.
Ronaldo's decision to storm off the pitch comes not long after he called for unity at Old Trafford in the face of the current problems.

He told Sky Sports: "We have to be together. We are in the same boat and we knew from the beginning that it wouldn't be easy. New year we have to believe it is possible, but we have a lot to change, but I believe we will have a good season.
"It's difficult to be honest when you change too much, it's always tough but I still believe that we are capable of having a good season.
"We have to be professional, we have to work hard, we have to work together as players to change the page. We know we are not in the best moment, but I believe that if we work hard we can achieve important things this year."
Richard Keys brought attention to Ronaldo's comments while discussing the forward's behaviour at the final whistle on beIN SPORT.
Reminding Ronaldo of his rallying cry, and his duty to his teammates, Keys said: "We need to stick together, we need to draw inspiration from each other, it's a team game, I've got a lot to teach the young lads. But… only on my terms."
Keys wasn't the only pundit to hit out at Ronaldo's decision to snub the fans and storm down the tunnel after the 1-1 draw.
Ally McCoist told the talkSPORT Breakfast Show: "I do feel he should be acknowledging the fans. That should always be done.
"The travelling fans in particular, certainly in my experience, can be the more vocal of your team's support and they travel long distances and spend an awful lot of money.
"I can understand that sometimes the overall disappointment of defeat getting to you and just wanting to get off the park.
"However, I think you should always go over to your travelling support and give them a thank you."
