Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney have sent messages of congratulations to Marcus Rashford after he scored his 100th goal for Manchester United on Sunday.
Rashford's header against West Ham seven minutes before the interval ensured that the United man wrote his name into the record books. The goal ranks him joint 20th on the list of top goalscorers for the Reds alongside George Wall and Joe Cassidy.
Taking to Instagram after the match, Rashford posted: "100 goals for this special club. I’ve been here since I was 7 years old and came through every single age group and played on every single pitch so I want to thank all the staff, my family and teammates that have helped make this achievement possible."

The 25-year-old sits 44 strikes behind Ronaldo and a whopping 153 behind United's record goalscorer Rooney. However, both men took the opportunity to send their best to Rashford on his accomplishment.
Ronaldo sent a simple message which read: "Congratulations," along with a clapping emoji. Meanwhile Rooney, who is the current manager of DC United in the MLS, added: "Class Marcus Rashford. Loads more to come."
The forward's 100th goal of his United career would end up being an all-important one as it marked the Reds' winner in a tight clash with West Ham.
