Cristiano Ronaldo and Nemanja Matic 's sons have quite literally followed in their father's footsteps by adorably recreating their goal and assist against Chelsea.
The Manchester United stars combined to equalise in Thursday's 1-1 draw, with Matic's inch-perfect lobbed pass finding Ronaldo, who rifled home past helpless Blues goalkeeper Edouard Mendy after elegantly controlling the ball.
While the result wasn't one to smile about for the parents, their sons were clearly impressed with their dads' skills.
In a heartwarming video, Matic's 11-year-old son Filip is seen chipping the ball to Cristiano Jr over an adult defender. Just like his father, the youngster smashes home and wheels away to celebrate with Matic. Running arm in arm towards the camera, they both shout "siu," a homage to Ronaldo's signature celebration. Both boys have played featured for the Red Devils' academy teams alongside Wayne Rooney 's son, with Cristiano Jr making headlines earlier this month for his rendition of the iconic celebration.
While Ronaldo has one more year remaining on his United contract, Matic has already confirmed that he'll be leaving the club at the end of this season. Post-match on Thursday, the Serbian told Sky Sports : "For me, it was a pleasure and an honour to play at Old Trafford for five years.
"I said before the game, I will do my best to help my team. Three more games to play and United will stay forever in my heart, so it was an honour to be part of everything."
Ronaldo, however, isn't certain to stay, with interim manager Ralf Rangnick singing his praises but admitting that new boss Erik ten Hag will have to decide whether or nor the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is part of his plans for next season. "Not only the goal that he scored today, his whole performance, his attitude, how often he helped in our own half, at the age of 37, a player like him, this is not normal to do that," Rangick declared following the draw.

"He showed that today and if he plays like he played today, he can still be a great help for this team. In the end, it is both Erik's and also Cristiano's decision what they want to do so I think it is not for me to speak about that but as I say the performance of Cristiano today was really great."
Cristiano Jr's future looks bright regardless, with former Juventus superstar Ronaldo saying of his son while the family still lived in Italy: "We'll see if my son will become a great footballer. He has potential. He is fast and dribbles well, but that is not enough.
"I always tell him that it takes work and dedication to have success. I won’t pressure him to become a footballer, but if you ask me if I want him to, yes I would like it. The most important thing is to become the best at whatever he does, whether it is as a footballer or a doctor."
