Chantelle Cameron has said it would be an honour to share the ring with Katie Taylor, but believes she will not be the next person to fight the undisputed lightweight champion.
The English boxer has long been linked with a bout with Taylor, but feels she will not be given the opportunity to face the Bray Bomber in May after Amanda Serrano withdrew from their scheduled rematch due to an unspecified injury.
Taylor was set to take on Serrano in a re-run of their Madison Square Garden classic from last April in Dublin on May 20, but that bout is now expected to take place at Croke Park in September.

However, it remains unclear if the 2012 Olympic gold medallist will fight another opponent between now and then.
Cameron is one name that has been mentioned as a replacement for Serrano in May since the injury news broke on Tuesday and the undisputed light-welterweight champion is more than keen to test herself against the best.
The Northampton native tweeted: "Would be an honour to share the ring with the very best in boxing and challenge myself. Unfortunately it ain’t happening next for me BUT what a fight it would be. 2 Undisputed. 2 Undefeated."
Responding to a post that read, "It is a crime if @chantellecam doesn't get to step in and fight Katie Taylor now", Cameron wrote: "Crime committed."
Eddie Hearn, whose Matchroom banner both Taylor and Cameron fight under, previously suggested the 31-year-old would be "an obvious choice" to face the Bray native if Serrano withdrew from the rematch.
He said last November: "The reason I created the tournament (to bring together the world 140 belts) was to give Chantelle Cameron the opportunity to become undisputed, to set up the Katie Taylor fight.
"That is a big, big fight now, and if the Serrano fight can't be made in the first part of next year then I think Chantelle Cameron is an obvious choice."
Hearn made the comments after watching Cameron defeat Jessica McCaskill to become the undisputed champion in Abu Dhabi.
