Crews called out to house fire in Bestwood

The emergency services have been tackling a house fire in Nottingham which broke out in the early hours of the morning, Saturday, May 13. Nottinghamshire Fire And Rescue Service attended to a property in Gladehill Road, between Bestwood and Daybrook, at 4.11am.

Five fire engines, including the aerial ladder platform, were first called out. The emergency services remained at the scene as of 7am, but the operation has been scaled down to two fire appliances alongside the aerial ladder platform.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no one had been injured, with crews saying the occupants of the property were out at the time of the incident.
