An extra-alarm fire has been extinguished with no injuries or displacements reported Thursday morning in the Chatham neighborhood, officials said.
As of 7:15 a.m., the blaze at 718 E. 93rd St., has been extinguished. It began about 5:20 a.m. and spread to a building next door, according to the Chicago fire department and police.

No one was displaced and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, according to police spokesperson Kellie Bartoli.
