LABOUR have been condemned after a number of party MPs posted the exact same tweet regarding an Israeli strike that killed at least 45 people.
On Monday, strikes on the southern Gaza city of Rafah hit tents for displaced people with “numerous” people trapped in flaming debris, according to Palestinian health workers.
Gaza’s health ministry said women and children made up most of the dead and that dozens were wounded after the attacks.
Reacting to the attack on Twitter/X, several Labour MPs including deputy party leader Angela Rayner posted the exact same reaction.
It read: “The scenes in Rafah are horrific. As @Keir_Starmer has said, Netanyahu must be told to stop. There must be a ceasefire, the hostages must be released, aid must be provided, & we must move to a lasting peace based on 2 states - an independent Palestine, alongside a secure Israel.”
Labour MPs Jo Stevens and Wayne David posted the exact same tweet, with shadow minister Lisa Nandy one of those sharing with a couple of small edits.

One social media user called it “creepy” (above) while another highlighted that they “do this a lot when it comes to Gaza tweets”.
“Ah! My local MP! Glad to see enough care for this issue has been expressed by Labour MPs to go through the grand effort of copy pasting the line from the WhatsApp broadcast group,” said another.
Keir Starmer has been widely criticised and pressured to take a harder stance on Israel’s actions in Gaza.
Asked what he would tell Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu if he were prime minister earlier that day, Starmer said: “Stop.
“Those scenes, those reports, are horrifying and what makes it worse was this was a safe zone with women and children and families that have already fled a number of times.
“It’s horrifying to see that. I’ve been saying for some time the Rafah offensive should not take place.”
