Nerve Centre is currently looking for a number of people who can take up new positions when the major new installation opens at Divis and the Black Mountain this June.
Producers of the Our Place in Space project, Nerve centre are seeking Trail Guardians to join the team.
Our Place in Space, part of UNBOXED: Creativity in the UK, is an epic scale model of the solar system designed by artist and children’s author Oliver Jeffers, incorporating a 10km three-dimensional sculpture trail in Northern Ireland and Cambridge, an interactive AR app, and major learning and events programmes.

Trail Guardians are sought to help provide a welcoming and informative experience for visitors while playing an important role in maintaining the security of the sculptures and the safety of all visitors and staff, working closely with National Trust staff to ensure their values are upheld.
The Our Place in Space sculpture trail will be open to visitors at Divis and the Black Mountain, the popular attraction cared for by the National Trust, from June 11 to July 10 and is free to everyone.
Executive Producer at the Nerve Centre, David Lewis said: “Bringing the Our Place in Space sculpture trail to Divis and the Black Mountain will be a unique experience for visitors and Trail Guardians alike, and we’re excited to partner with the National Trust to animate such an iconic location.
