Crash in Lanarkshire street results in three people taken to hospital

A crash in Wishaw last week led to three people being taken to hospital.

At around 8.50pm on Friday, June 3, a lorry was involved in a crash with a car on Cambusnethan Street.

A man has also been reported to the procurator fiscal in relation to the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a lorry .

“Three people were taken to Wishaw General Hospital to be assessed.

"A 37-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.”
