Pundit Craig Moore understands where outraged Rangers fans are coming from over the Sydney Super Cup.
Because he thinks they fear being in the "shadow" of Celtic during the trip Down Under.
Various supporter groups have vented their fury at the club after they signed up for the winter friendly tournament.
The Union Bears, Club 1872 and the North American Rangers Supporters' Association have all demanded answers from the Ibrox board.
Meanwhile fans also displayed a number of banners during their win over St Johnstone - one of which read: "Money over morals. No derby friendlies."
But the club have so far shown no signs of budging with Gio van Bronckhorst and commercial director James Bisgrove hailing the footballing and financial benefits the trip will bring.
Australian pundit Moore knows Rangers have fans all over Australia who will jump at the chance to see the team in action live.
But he also understands the frustration of the fans, who he believes are worried about being cast as a sideshow to Ange Postecoglou's homecoming.
Speaking on Go Radio, Moore said: "Rangers and Celtic have got supporters in every single city in Australia.
"There'll be huge support for this match because unfortunately maybe the couple of years of covid they haven't had the chance to come over and watch their team in Glasgow, so to have that opportunity in Australia I think it's fantastic for the supporters in that country.
"I can understand a little bit some of the supporters getting their knickers in a twist.
"Ange in terms of the Australian manager, part of Celtic, coming back to Australia. I think the Rangers supporters will feel as if they're like a bolt-on or in the shadows of this particular deal.
"There's a lot of people in Australia, just the opportunity to see these teams. It's big business."
