Craig Gordon is playing some of his best football at 39 - which has Craig Levein wondering what the Hearts goalkeeper will be like when he hits 50.
The stopper was at the side of partner Summer as his son, Axel, was born ahead of Saturday's 2-1 Nations League win over the Republic of Ireland for Scotland. He made a handful of saves from Irish striker Troy Parrot to keep the game in the balance as Jack Hendry and Ryan Christie eventually struck to seal three points, with one point away at Ukraine midweek enough to seal progression from League B to A.
Former Hearts manager Levein says the Jambos stopper is hard to believe at times after battling back from a career-threatening knee injury to become Scotland's number one again, but insists it's what he deserves. Levein told Sportsound of Gordon: "It's crazy to say, wait till he's 50 and he's going to be incredible!

"He seems to be getting more and more subtle. He pulls off saves that no mortal could probably reach. It's amazing to watch him.
"I am so pleased for him. He had that terrible, terrible time when he thought he was going to retire with the problem with the tendon in his knee.
"He deserves extra time and he is certainly making the use of it."
