Craig Gordon has no interest in taking time off as Robbie Neilson insists the Hearts goalkeeper wants to prolong his international career.
The veteran Tynecastle captain returned to training ahead of schedule in preparation for their game v Rangers in the Premiership this weekend, having played three games for Scotland in the last week on top of welcoming his son to the world. Neilson says the stopper's dedication to the cause is unrivalled and on top of his Hearts commitment, there's Scotland ones too.
He insists that Gordon is already thinking about the nation's next matches, despite being in the twilight of his career: "The mark of him is that he had the Scotland game the other night and his partner has just had a kid. We said to him to take a couple of days off. But he turned up today at half nine to get ready for training.

"He wants to be ready for the weekend, and he wants to keep himself going. He's already talking about the European games coming up! He mentioned Scotland's friendly with Turkey in November.
"I didn't even know we had a game against them. But he was telling me he is getting ready for that because that will take him to 74 caps.
"And then the next ones are March. He is getting ready for those games too. Craig's really driven to try and get as many caps as he can and keep playing for as long as possible."
