Former Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon and ex-Celtic TV host Summer Harl have revealed they got engaged in secret over the festive period.
The mum-of-two announced the exciting news in a sentimental social media post and revealed the Scottish player popped the question on December 21 - just days before his devastating leg injury.
The ex-Celt, who now plays for fellow Scottish club Heart of Midlothian, has been with his partner Summer since 2017, after he divorced his first wife Jennifer. He has two daughters from his previous marriage - Freya and Emma.
Craig and Summer also have two sons, Ace and Axel, who were all included in the emotional engagement announcement. In the video posted to Instagram, all of the family's hands slowly reveal a sparkling diamond ring on Summer's finger.

Writing on Instagram, Summer captioned the post: "Just over a month ago, all these hands - big and small, had a hand in the BEST moment. 21.12.22.
"A lot has happened since, and almost immediately after, so we decided to hold off celebrating for a bit, but sharing this (happier) news with family and friends has been so lovely.
"YES x 1,000,000. Mrs Gordon to be!"
It is understood that Summer is referencing Craig's horror leg injury when she stated "A lot has happened since" - so it looks like the announcement was postponed to let the goalkeeper recover.
Fans of the ex-Celt and former Celtic TV reporter have flocked to the comments of Summer's post to share their congratulations, and well wishes for the newly-engaged couple.
One Instagram user wrote: "Biggest congratulations to you and @craig_gordon1 love love love this!!! The hands, especially Ace copying his sisters."
Another said: "Awwwwww how beautiful!!! Congratulations to you all, especially to you Mrs Gordon to be."
And a third wrote: "Oh I love this! Congratulations darling, that’s a serious sparkler."
More comments read: "I spotted this when you came to collect Ace's balloon on Christmas Eve. I didn't realise how new it was. Congratulations!"
While others said: "Congratulations future Mrs CG! I don’t know but I just knew you were going to get engaged and thought it would happen over Christmas. Beautiful ring!"
One noted: "Congratulations, the best news!"
Another added: "Massive Congratulations you pair!"
And finally, one concluded: "Axel’s little hand holding your finger at the end!"
We send our congratulations to the couple, and wish them all the happiness in their new journey together.
