The luggage trick of a crafty traveller has gone viral and inspired others to give it a go.
TikTok user @Elyukaa's video at the check-in desk of an airport has gone viral thanks to the work of one veteran traveller.
In the clip people can be seen queueing to show their boarding passes and passports before heading onto the plane.
For anyone who pushes the hand luggage allowance whenever they catch a flight, and fears the bag measuring devices that can spell an extra charge for overly ambitious packers, it's an airport zone associated with anxiety.
Not so for one elderly man, who has devised a trick to double your limit.
He is filmed wandering past the desk at ease, clasping a code-compliant bag in his right hand.
Unknown to the airport staff who are checking his documents, a second bag - a rucksack - is on his back, hidden beneath a blue jumper.
The man's sneaky trick has been applauded by TikTok users.
"I love this guy already. Don't even need to know him," one person wrote, while another added: "Man that was clever even I didn’t see it".
Others shared their similar techniques for sneaking an extra item onboard.
"I put my bag over my stomach so I just looked pregnant and took my bag through," one woman wrote.
Another wrote: "Once I pretended my grandma was ahead of me already boarded and I was carrying her bag. I even pretended to call her back."
Popular airlines such as TUI, easyJet, Ryanair and British Airways each have their own policies around what you can bring onboard flights for free, whether that's one small bag or two.
Get it wrong, and it could prove costly, especially if you end up paying check-in fees at the airport, or have to pay to put your bag in the hold.
It's important to read the rules of your specific airline before you travel, as each has different requirements.
