Cowboys win after Commanders miss PAT following 86-yard touchdown pass

The Washington Command needed a PAT to tie the game on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

They had just gotten a miracle 86-yard touchdown pass from Jayden Daniels to Terry McLaurin.

Austin Seibert missed his second PAT of the game and the Cowboys escaped with a 34-26 victory.

The missed PAT left the game at 27-26 in favor of the Cowboys.

On the onside kick attempt, Juanyeh Thomas picked it up and returned it 43 yards for the touchdown.

The argument was made that Thomas should have fallen and not scored to avoid Washington getting the ball back with 14 seconds left.

He scored and Dallas led by eight.

The game saw two kick returns for TDs, two missed PATs, and a blocked punt an NFL first.
