The Dallas Cowboys are coming off another disappointing playoff performance, having lost at home in the wild-card round as a No. 2 seed to the No. 7 seed Green Bay Packers. The loss left many fans are wondering whether Dallas has the right culture to take the next step and make a Super Bowl run.
While the Cowboys enter the 2024 offseason with many questions, Stephen Jones doesn’t believe culture is an issue. The COO and executive vice president explained that there is no doubt within the organization that they have the right people running the operation.
“I think overall, organizationally and between our coach and our personnel department, I think our leadership on our team is outstanding,” Jones said, via ESPN’s Todd Archer. “You’re always going to have somebody that’s going to say something that might be their particular thought process on why we may have come up short, but I don’t think in general, personally, I don’t think it’s an issue.”

The Cowboys went 12-5 for a third straight year, and won the NFC East for the second time in three years, but once again failed to reach the NFC championship game. The organization has now gone 28 years without making it that far in the playoffs.
Dallas opted to bring head coach Mike McCarthy back for a fifth season with the team, a move that shows how much the team believes in its coaching staff. However, McCarthy is entering the final year of his contract, so 2024 will decide his future with the team.
