The Dallas Cowboys agreed upon a four-year contract worth $80 million with defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa on Tuesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
The deal includes $58 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that if Dallas couldn't work out a long-term contract, the Cowboys planned to give Odighizuwa the franchise tag on a one-year deal worth $25 million.
Odighizuwa, a third-round pick by Dallas in the 2021 NFL draft, saved a career year for the final season of his rookie contract. In 17 games last season, Odighizuwa set career bests in multiple categories with 4.5 sacks, 23 quarterback hits and 47 tackles.

Odighizuwa has only missed one game over his four-year career, and that came during his rookie season. He has started in all 17 games for the past three seasons.
With Odighizuwa set to return, the Cowboys now can focus on star pass rusher Micah Parsons as he looks for an extension this offseason.
