Pregame warmups got heated between the Chargers and Cowboys ahead of their clash on Monday Night Football, as a brawl broke out between the two teams.
Players from both sides could be seen getting into it on the field prior to the Week 6 tilt. It appeared to kick off after a group of Los Angeles’s defensive backs were chirping at some members of Dallas’s defense.
Things escalated from there, as more players ran over to join in the fracas and people began shoving each other. Eventually, punches were even thrown during the heated exchange, which occurred near the sideline.
Amid the chaos, Chargers running back Austin Ekeler appeared to take a blow to the head, which caused his helmet to pop off.

Coaches from both teams, and even a referee, were eventually able to get in between the feuding players and de-escalate the situation, but not after some shots were landed on both ends.
The prime-time game figures to be tense, and tempers were flaring before the game even kicked off.
