Covid infections have fallen in every area of the Liverpool City Region for the twenty-first day in a row.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the Liverpool City Region had 12,693 infections in the seven days ending January 27 - that's 2,190 fewer infections than the previous week.
This meant the city region's week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 15%.
All local government areas within the Liverpool City Region had falls in infections for the 21st day in a row.

The falls were: 20% in Knowsley; 12% in Liverpool; 22% in Halton; 23% in St Helens; 15% in Sefton; and 8% in Wirral.
Near to the city region, infections also dropped, with Cheshire West and Chester, West Lancashire, and Warrington all recording falls in infections in the week ending January 27.
The nation saw a fall of 2% in positive tests in the week ending January 27.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 3,703 cases in the week ending January 27, which is 508 fewer cases than the previous week.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 12%.
The latest infection rate was 739.9 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 3,091 cases in the week ending January 27, which is 279 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 8%.
The latest infection rate was 953.0 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 1,214 positive tests over the last week - that's 336 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 22% in Halton in the week ending January 27.
The latest infection rate is 935.6 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 1,364 cases in the week ending January 27, which is 411 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 753.2 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 23%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 1,186 cases in the week ending January 27, which is 289 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 777.9 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 20%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 2,135 cases in the week ending January 27, which is a 367 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 773.8 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases dropped by 15% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 12,693.0 positive tests over in the week ending January 27, which is 2,190 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change dropped by 15%. The latest infection rate is 745.44 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 1,745 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 27, which is 480 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure fell by 22%. There was an infection rate of 833.34 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 1,027 coronavirus cases in the week ending January 27, which is 125 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure fell by 11%. The infection rate was 896.97 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 3,823 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending January 27, which is 230 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 1,111.91 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week-on-week percentage fall of 6% in cases.
England
In the week ending January 27, England recorded 617,416 coronavirus cases, which is 11,867 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage drop of 2% in cases in England, and there was an infection rate of 1,091.80 per 100,000 people.
