New positive Covid tests have fallen by almost 600 in Liverpool in a week.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, Liverpool saw 1,739 infections in the seven days ending February 17 - that's 592 fewer positive tests than the previous week.
This meant Liverpool's week-on-week percentage change figure was a fall of 25%.

All areas in the Liverpool City Region saw falls in positive Covid tests. The drops were: 15% in Knowsley; 25% in Liverpool; 20% in Halton; 21% in St Helens; 33% in Sefton; and 27% in Wirral.
In the Liverpool City Region, infections dropped by 25%.
West Lancashire, Warrington and Cheshire West and Chester all recorded decreases in positive Covid tests in the week ending February 17. There was a 29% drop in infections in England.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 1,739 cases in the week ending February 17, which is 592 fewer cases than the previous week.

The latest infection rate was 347.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Wirral
Wirral's positive tests came to 1,186 cases in the week ending February 17, which is 434 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 27%.
The latest infection rate was 365.7 cases per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 510 positive tests over the last week - that's 129 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 20% in Halton in the week ending February 17.
The latest infection rate is 393.0 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There was a total of 544 cases in the week ending February 17, which is 148 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in St Helens is 300.4 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure dropped by 21%.
Knowsley
There was a total of 527 cases in the week ending February 17, which is 96 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate in Knowsley is 345.7 cases per 100,000 people and the week-on-week percentage change figure fell by 15%.
Sefton
Sefton had a total of 869 cases in the week ending February 17, which is a 419 fewer cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 315.0 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases dropped by 33% week on week.
Liverpool City Region
There were 5,375 positive tests over in the week ending February 17, which is 1,818 fewer cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change dropped by 25%. The latest infection rate is 315.67 cases per 100,000 people.
Warrington
There were 751 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 17, which is 231 fewer cases than the previous week.
The week-on-week percentage figure fell by 24%. There was an infection rate of 358.65 per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 361 coronavirus cases in the week ending February 17, which is 119 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
This meant there was a week-on-week percentage figure dropped by 25%. The infection rate was 315.30 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 1,462 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending February 17, which is 772 fewer cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 425.22 cases per 100,000 people, and the week-on-week percentage dropped by 35% in cases.
England
In the week ending February 16, England recorded 250,745 coronavirus cases, which is 103,421 fewer cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week-on-week percentage fall of 29% in cases in England, and there was an infection rate of 443.40 per 100,000 people.
