Five people have died with coronavirus across the Bristol region, according to new Government data.
Bristol’s death toll is creeping up, and case numbers are significantly higher than they were yesterday.
It comes as almost half of Bristol's care homes are reporting a Covid outbreak, with lots of schools impacted.

The latest figures show two people died with Covid in the city of Bristol in the last 24 hours on record, and three people died with the virus in North Somerset.
Bristol recorded the most new cases today (Tuesday, January 18) with 658, bringing its total to 111,967 cases since the pandemic began.
South Gloucestershire recorded 485 new cases, bringing the total there to 63,078.
Meanwhile 337 new infections were recorded in North Somerset, bringing its total to 42,083.
A spike in cases comes as the Government reportedly prepares to ease Plan B restrictions.
The rules, which include wearing face mask inside and working from home, could be updated on January 26 as infections are falling across the country.

Nationally a further 94,432 cases were recorded in the UK today, and another 438 people have died within 28 days of a positive test.
