The vaccine centre in Inchicore will be offering booster doses to anyone aged 40 and over starting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 21.

The times for boosters up to and including Christmas Eve are as follows:

  • Tuesday 21 December, 8.30am to 10.30am
  • Wednesday 22 December, 8.30am to 10.30am
  • Thursday 23 December, 8.30am to 10.30am

Ireland's booster program has ramped up significantly over the last week. Ireland now ranks second in the EU for Covid-19 booster uptake for anyone aged 18 or over.

Currently, 39.8% of people aged 18 or over have been given a booster in Ireland. Only Austria - at 47.5% - has boosted a higher percentage.
