Coventry City are interested in signing Jamie Paterson from Swansea City but are yet to make a formal offer for the player, WalesOnline understands.
The attacker excelled in the opening half of last season after joining the Swans as a free agent following his release from Championship rivals Bristol City.
However, following a contract dispute a year ago, Paterson missed a significant chunk of action and has since failed to reproduce the levels he showed in the early stages of his Swansea career.

Indeed, he has not scored a goal or registered a single assist for Russell Martin's side this season and was omitted from the matchday squads against Watford, Burnley and Bristol City.
Speaking about Paterson in his press conference ahead of the Championship clash with Sunderland, Martin said: "There's lots of interest in Pato. We'll just have to wait and see really.
"There is a lot of interest, discussion and talks. Nothing concrete as of yet."
Paterson was told by the club's coaching staff that he could leave this month, and Sky Blues boss Mark Robins has been a huge admirer of the 31-year-old for some time.
However, it's understood Swansea are yet to receive a formal offer from Coventry for the playmaker who has received interest from a number of clubs.
Paterson has not travelled with his Swansea team-mates to Sunderland.
