Courteney Cox has Friends fans in stitches over blooper many have never seen before

When it comes to Friends, for many people it's not just a show - it's a lifestyle.

Many people have watched all the episodes more times than they can count, own merchandise, have decided which character they're most like and can quote the best jokes.

But a number of fans were left surprised - and in stitches - recently when a blooper from the show's seventh season was shared on TikTok.

The blooper, from the episode The One with All the Candy, shows Monica and Rachel talking in the apartment - with Courteney Cox breaking character and cracking a sneaky joke to Jennifer Aniston.

In the episode, Monica is making lots of candy for her neighbours and Rachel and Tag are trying to figure out how best to hide their blossoming relationship while at work.

The scene features Monica and Rachel discussing the plan they've come up with.

Monica asks Rachel if she and Tag have slept together, to which an outraged Rachel replies: "Oh, Monica, you know I don't sleep with guys on the first date."

Monica is then meant to reel off a list of names of guys Rachel has in fact slept with on the first date. However, in this blooper, cheeky Courteney Cox swaps out the men's names for other ones.

She instead names David Krane, Kevin Bright and Marta Kauffman - the show's executive producers.

Jennifer was a good sport about the joke and carried on with her next line without missing a beat, joking that she doesn't sleep with people on the first date "anymore".

The clip was shared by a user named @defriendsgang and has since been viewed over 1.8 million times, garnering over 181,000 likes.

One person wrote: "Love how Jen looks in the camera and then just goes along."

Another said: "Watched Friends 15k times... never caught that this is a blooper. Cool."

"Friends bloopers are so funny," proclaimed a third.

A different user added: "Omg that went straight over my head hahahaha!"
