Honeymoons are meant to be an exciting trip for newlyweds, whether you're ticking off a bucket list destination or exploring some of the world's most romantic places.
Unfortunately, not all honeymoons go to plan.
Bad weather, cancellations because of the Covid pandemic, or simple mishaps can quickly turn a dream holiday into a nightmare - which is particularly disheartening when it's meant to be a celebration of your new life together.
But one travel company is looking to give a couple whose honeymoon went wrong the chance to get a proper getaway. Oh, and this time, it'll be on a FREE trip to the Maldives!
Yep, we're talking over-the-water villas with private pools, luxury dining, lavish spa treatments, and of course plenty of time to unwind on those picture-perfect white sand beaches.

Winged Boots, a personal travel management company, is offering one lucky couple a free 10-night, full board stay at the Raffles Maldives Meradhoo Resort, which includes five nights in a beach villa with a pool, and five in an overwater villa which also has a private pool. Oh, and you'll also get £1,000 spending money to use in the resort's restaurants, bars or to book excursions.
The competition is open to couples who married or entered a civil partnership before January 2022, and applications have already opened on the Winged Boots website. (This is also where you'll find the full terms and conditions).
To enter, couples simply need to share why they think they deserve a second chance at a honeymoon, whether that's a heartfelt story or your trip was just filled with plenty of hilarious (or not so hilarious) mishaps.
You'll need to enter by April 17, 2022, when entries close. Shortlisted applicants will then be contacted for a video interview, and an independent judge will ultimately decide who wins the free holiday.
David Ox, Managing Director of Winged Boots said that the competition came about because the company "wanted to offer one couple the opportunity to celebrate their relationship with an unforgettable honeymoon experience in the Maldives".
He added that the winners will also get 24/7 access to a personal travel manager to help plan the perfect itinerary for their trip.
