Autumn is upon us, meaning Halloween is just around the corner - and many will already be thinking about what costumes to wear.
As spooky season approaches, households will also be conjuring up ideas for Halloween decorations to scare this year's trick or treaters.
Well, despite it being over a month away, one couple have already "won Halloween" with their terrifying "Stranger Things" decoration.
The popular American science fiction show has just released its fourth season on Netflix, which has been praised as one of its scariest series yet.
Dave and Aubrey, who describe themselves as a "horror prop making family", have taken to social media to share their incredible creation. Posted on their @horrorprops TikTok for just over two days, the clip has garnered over one million likes.
Those who are fans of Stranger Things will be able to quickly spot the reference. The couple have managed to create their very own Max dummy which appears to be floating feet above the ground.
Aubrey creates further confusion as she is seen walking under the model, proving that it has no ground support.
The impressive creation is a nod to a suspenseful scene of the show, when Max confronts the villain Vecna for the first time. Possessed by the demon, her body levitates in a frozen state.
Luckily, she is saved by Kate Bush's 1985 anthem "Running up that Hill", which snaps Max back to reality.
Unsurprisingly, viewers were dying to know how the pair managed to make their Max model float in mid-air. One eager commenter wrote: "I need to know how she’s up there. Remind me when the reveal video is up please."
Others joked that their prop may spur genuine concerns among those who have never watched the show. One follower said: "Imagine being a neighbor who didn’t watch Stranger Things," while another joked: "Can you imagine someone driving by & seeing that, but they've never seen the show?!
"I can only imagine what would go through their head."
However, the horror enthusiasts could see the humour, as they responded: "in conclusion, our neighbors who haven't seen the show think we are just levitating our daughter."
