Helen Skelton has become the fifteenth - and final name - to be announced on the Strictly Come Dancing line-up this year.
The Countryfile presenter - who recently shocked fans when she announced her split from her husband Richie Myler - has been confirmed for the upcoming series of the BBC One Latin and Ballroom show, joining the likes of Loose Women star Kaye Adams, comedienne Ellie Taylor and footballing legend Tony Adams.
Helen has long been a fan of the show and took part in a previous Christmas special where she was partnered with Artem Chigvintsev. The news of Helen's involvement in the main series was announced on host Claudia Winkleman's BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday.
Claudia told listeners beforehand her BBC bosses refuse to tell her the list of contestants prior to the announcements because she is known for 'leaking everything'.
As her name was called over the Strictly theme tune, Helen joked the famous music was already making her need to go to the toilet. The presenter revealed she only signed up to Strictly 'the other day' and agreed to take part for the weekly hair and make-up transformations.
"I only said yes the other day, because I did the Christmas one years and years ago and the hair is the best. The make-up is incredible the costumes are incredible. Who gets to work and be made to look a bit like Beyonce and have a fun time?
"So I thought it would be madness not to do it. It will be so much fun." Claudia agreed, telling the soon-to-be amateur dancer, "There really is nothing like it."
After welcoming her third child, a daughter named Elsie, in January this year, Helen said her Strictly partner had 'better get used to rehearsing' with a baby in the room. Helen is also mum to boys Ernie, six, and Louis, four.
Asked for the reaction of her kids, Helen said: "The boys are excited but I asked my middle child Louis what he thinks about the dance show and he said 'I think you will be OK on your own. I don't think you should get a partner'."
Helen made headlines recently after she announced her split from husband Richie just four months after she gave birth to their youngest child when she posted an emotional statement to confirm he had left the family home. However, she's no doubt keen to put that behind her and has been announced as the latest Strictly star for the upcoming 20th series.
Helen confirmed her split from Richie with a heartbreaking Instagram story.
"Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple," she wrote on her Instagram story alongside two heartbreak emojis, "He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
Helen has also been open about experiencing mum guilt and having to balance her TV career and raising three children.
"My work is unpredictable, it can be five days one week, then random days the next," she told Hello! magazine, "I don't want to commit to childcare as if I'm off I want to be with the kids, so my mum comes to stay when I'm working.
"Sometimes I am a full-time mum with the guilt of thinking I should be out working, and other times I am a working mum with the guilt that I'm not at home with them. Life is a bit crazy with three children and getting the kids to school is just chaos."
Following their split, it was revealed a few days after that Richie had since been dating Sophie Thirkill - the daughter of the Super League club's president. During a recent holiday, he shared a picture of himself with his arm wrapped around her.
She had her arms around his waist and shoulder, whilst he also shared snaps of him swimming in the sea and enjoying the cool Cornwall waters on a romantic break away. Helen is yet to be romantically linked to anyone else following her split from Richie.
The presenter's announcement follows a number of great signings for the BBC show including football legend Tony Adams, Paralympian Ellie Simmonds and Coronation Street stars Kym Marsh and Will Mellor.
