Country2Country music festival set to come to Belfast next year

Annual music festival Country2Country is to come to Belfast next year, it's been announced.

The biggest country music event in the UK and Ireland has been held in London, Glasgow and Dublin for a number of years.

In that time it has hosted some of the biggest names in the genre, including Luke Combs who headlined last year.

He is due to perform a much anticipated gig at the SSE Arena later this year.

And it's now been revealed that the whole C2C festival is following him in a huge boost for country fans in Northern Ireland.

The organisers announced the switch from Dublin's 3Arena to the SSE Arena in Belfast for 2024.

The news came as thousands made the trip south for this year's festival, which was headlined by Zac Brown Band, Lady A and, on Sunday night, Thomas Rhett.

One fan speaking to Belfast Live said: "This is fantastic news for country music fans north of the border, of which there are plenty!

"Every year we head to Dublin for C2C and it never disappoints.

"Having some of the biggest acts come from the US to perform in Belfast next year is going to be unmissable."

The headliners for Country2Country in Belfast in March of 2024 will be announced in the coming months.
