A WINDOW of an Eve Coaches' bus, carrying school children, was smashed earlier this afternoon whilst in Port Seton.
The bus, travelling from Preston Lodge High School in Prestonpans to Cockenzie and Port Seton, was seen by members of the public parked on Port Seton's Long Craigs at about 12.30pm.
Eve Coaches and East Lothian Council confirmed that no passengers were injured in the incident.
A parent of one of the children on the bus at the time, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the Courier: "I’m just so thankful that the window was double pained, otherwise the outcome today could have been very different for a bus full of shocked teenagers."
