Fermanagh and Omagh District Council has defended its ticket prices for an upcoming outdoor theatre series across the district.
The local authority have announced a series of outdoor theatre shows area this summer - but some have complained the tickets are too expensive.
For the events taking place at Enniskillen Castle, adult tickets are £18, while children’s tickets are £11.

A family of two adults and one child is priced at £45, and a picnic table can be rented at the venue for £90.
Other venues listed in the events programme are cheaper than Enniskillen Castle with a family ticket costing £38 at all other venues.
In a statement provided to MyFermanagh , a council spokesperson said it believes the ticket prices represent ‘good value for money’.
“The council believes that ticket prices for our 2022 outdoor theatre season represent good value for money and offer a high quality product for both locals and visitors alike,” the spokesperson said.
“In pricing tickets for performances, the council tries to balance two factors.
“We consider the affordability of tickets for customers, and are particularly mindful of the current cost of living for families.
“We also have to consider the costs of putting on such performances and our responsibility to the same families as ratepayers.”
The council added ticket prices for the outdoor theatre season remain the same as they were in 2021, and in choosing a range of rural venues it has reduced the need for many to travel to further away venues.
The statement added: “Tickets for our outdoor theatre season in 2022 are cheaper than most of the theatre performances at our arts venues.
“In addition, we are offering family tickets, which give a discount on individually priced ones.
“Ticket prices have not been increased from the 2021 outdoor theatre season.
“This is the first time that such an extensive outdoor theatre programme has been presented by the council, and in planning it, we have chosen venues situated across the district, increasing access for rural communities and reducing the need to and cost of travelling.”
People in a local Facebook group for residents had complained that the prices were ‘ridiculous’, and a ‘rip off’.
