Could Prince Charles be next 007? Duke visits 'Bond 25' as double agent for BFI and secret service

Was Prince Charles on Her Majesty’s secret service as he visited the set of the upcoming James Bond movie, or trying to take the role for himself?

The Prince of Wales toured the back lot as a double agent – he is patron of both the British Film Institute and the British Intelligence Service.

He met 007 stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris while being shown around Pinewood studios in Iver Heath, Bucks.

The royal was snapped posing with the spy’s cars – including an Aston Martin that featured in 2012’s Skyfall – alongside Craig, who was looking rather debonair having ditched the protective boot he required after injuring himself on set.

The actor turned on the Bond charm for his royal encounter but also bore scratches on his face.

They may hint at the action scenes in store for fans when the latest instalment of the spy franchise – known by its working title Bond 25 – hits cinemas in April next year.
