The Kansas City Chiefs made major investments in their receiving corps over the last few months and might have an opportunity to bring in yet another talented pass catcher in the near future.
On Thursday, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stated that he doesn’t have “any urgency” to extend wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, sparking debate online about whether Brett Veach should step in to trade for the star pass-catcher.
Lamb, who was teammates with Chiefs wideout Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown at the University of Oklahoma, could be an explosive addition to Kansas City’s offense, but a deal for him could come at an astronomical cost.

Check out this potential trade scenario that was posted by FanDuel on Twitter, which would see the Chiefs send second-year receiver Rashee Rice and two first-round picks to Dallas in exchange for Lamb:

Players of Lamb’s caliber rarely become available on the trade market, and while it may seem impractical for Kansas City to move on him ahead of the regular season, Jones’ comments on the receiver’s future may open the door for a deal to be made.
