A self-confessed 40-year-old cougar has gone into detail about why she only dates younger younger men and hasn't felt satisfied with people her own age.
Shirley Rosemary Flynn dates men as young as 18 because middle-aged men "can't keep up" with her in the bedroom and they have "better bodies and better stamina".
The customer sales advisor said she casually started dating younger men after finding that men her own age were "boring" and "didn't want to explore in the bedroom" the way that she did.
She eventually started exploring going out with men in their 20s and 30s, and found out that she was much more compatible with people who were much younger than herself.
Shirley, who proudly calls herself a cougar, said: "I find men my age are boring in bed and can't keep up with me - I think some are afraid of me. But young men are crazy about me and I love it."
She started exclusively dating young men in 2015, but does find she has to "train them" because they aren't as experienced as her.
The West Midlands native said: "A lot of the younger guys I've dated were quite inexperienced, so I'd show them how it's done and what women really want in the bedroom."
This has been particularly crucial because she thinks porn teaches boys unrealistic ideals about sex, ad she likes to show them "what it's like to be with a real woman".
Shirley explained: "Most boys learn about sex through porn, which isn't realistic and can be damaging. I show them what it's like to be with a real woman."
In addition, she also finds that older men can't keep up with her sexually, which is very important to her.
"A lot of men my age are rubbish in bed, and some can't even rise to the occasion in the first place. They roll over and play dead afterwards, which is so boring.
"Younger guys have more stamina and are more open-minded and exciting. They take one look at me and are ready to go. I need someone that can keep up with me, and younger men can go for miles."
Shirley hasn't had any trouble attracting young partners, and people frequently approach her in the gym or Instagram, where she regularly posts pictures on her @busty_malone_ account.
However, some things people say make Shirley feel uncomfortable, and that's where she draws the line.
She explained: "It's flattering when guys approach me, but sometimes the messages I receive are quite inappropriate.
"They often want nude or topless pictures, which makes me feel uncomfortable."
Shirley is currently single, but her youngest partner was 18 when they got together. They were in a relationship for three years before they went their separate ways.
Not everyone was supportive of their age-gap relationship, including their own families at first.
"Our families weren't keen at first, but eventually they could see that we were happy and were supportive," Shirley said.
She added: "Most of his friends gave the thumbs up, they thought fair play".
Despite currently only dating younger guys, Shirley doesn't plan on settling down. She says it's "just a bit of fun," and that they can be quite immature sometimes which can make her feel like their parent.
Shirley said: "I like to keep my options open and don't want anything long term or to settle down."
