People all across the U.S. are suddenly dealing with frigid temperatures and winter storms.
Now, Costco Travel (COST) -) is offering a number of limited-time deals to escape the cold weather — while saving money in the process — to relax on a sunny vacation.

The online travel agency frequently provides deals on vacation packages, hotels and rental cars for these occasions, but there are a few things of which to be aware.
First, the Costco Travel website is available for anyone to browse, but only members are able to view pricing and to book travel.
Another important note is that Costco Travel requires a separate account from a customer's main Costco account. So that separate account must be active before booking. Bookings can be made online or also by phone.
Also, Costco Travel does not sell airfare that stands alone. Members can only purchase flights when they are bundled along with lodging plans or as part of a travel package purchase.

So what are the current offers?
Costco Travel's current offers include multiple hotel stays in several locations in both Hawaii and Mexico. All need to be booked by Jan. 31, but travel can take place later.
Hawaii
Several offers are available in the Hawaiian Islands.
One is a stay on Maui, at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa (H) -). Five nights are offered for the price of four, with a waived daily resort fee and a $350 resort credit. The resort includes 40 oceanfront acres and nightly entertainment, featuring a "Drums of the Pacific" Luau.
Another is a $500 to $1,500 resort credit at the Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua (MAR) -). This also includes a waived resort fee, as well as complimentary valet parking and a daily breakfast for two. The hotel is located in the midst of a century-old pineapple plantation with a beachfront.
One other Maui option is available at the Hotel Wailea, Relais and Chateaux. This is also an offer that allows vacationers to pay for four nights and stay for five. A $400 resort credit is included along with a $60 breakfast credit.
On Oahu, Costco Travel waives the resort fee at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and offers a $100 food and beverage credit.
On Hawaii, "The Big Island," the Rosewood Resort at Kona Village is part of a package that includes an Alamo (ALG) -) rental car, a $100 resort credit and a daily breakfast for two.
Costco Travel also has a deal on the island of Kauai, at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort and Spa. It includes an upgraded room and complimentary self-parking.
Mexico
A number of offers in Mexico are part of the Costco Travel promotion.
In Cancun, Riviera Maya and Los Cabos, all-inclusive resort stays are available.
A vacation at the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach resort in Cancun includes a resort credit of $250. This is a beachfront resort in the heart of the Cancun hotel zone. It includes gourmet dining, an expansive oceanfront pool and 40,000 square-foot spa.
In Riviera Maya, vacationers can choose to stay at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen with a $200 instant savings. Another Paradisus stay is available at an adults-only location in Los Cabos, also with a $200 instant savings.
