Drivers are keeping an eagle eye on petrol prices following the spike in the cost of living. Prices rose by 7% in the 12 months to March, their fastest rate for 30 years and up from 6.2% in February.
Higher prices for petrol and diesel mean petrol cars will cost £302 more to fill up a year in 2022 compared to 2021.
