Costa unveils autumn 2022 menu with new limited-edition snacks and drinks

Costa coffee has revealed their brand new autumn menu - and it features a range of limited-edition seasonal treats you'll need to get your hands on.

Landing in stores from tomorrow (Thursday, September 1) the popular coffee chain has revealed a brand new range of sweet and savoury snacks, including the new Maple Hazel range.

The limited-edition range features a line-up of hot and cold drinks that have been inspired by the seasonal flavours of maple, and there will be three delicious new drinks up for grabs.

First newbie on the menu is the Maple Hazel Latte & Light Dairy Swirl, which features roasted hazelnut syrup and maple sauce, which is then topped with a light dairy swirl and sprinkled with a crunchy biscuit topping.

Ice coffee fans can treat themselves to a Maple Hazel Iced Latte & Light Dairy Swirl that includes roasted hazelnut flavour syrup and delectable maple sauce, simply topped with a light dairy swirl and the all-important crunchy biscuit topping.

And, because no autumn menu is complete without a hot chocolate, Costa will also launch the new Maple Hazel Hot Chocolate & Light Dairy Swirl, which is a rich chocolatey drink that has been made using uniquely roasted hazelnut flavour syrup and sumptuous maple sauce.

That's not all, as the high-street coffee giant has also revealed a line-up of brand new sweet and savoury snacks that you can pair alongside one of their new seasonal drinks.

We're talking autumn-themed treats such as the mouth-watering Maple & Hazelnut Muffin that is made with real maple syrup packed with nibbed hazelnut, filled with maple style sauce and topped with caramel icing and an edible chocolate leaf.

There will also be new savoury snacks - including this Steak and Mexicana Cheese Toastie (Costa)

Joining the new sweet (trick) or treats will be the Maple and Hazelnut Blondie, new St. Clement’s Chocolate Drizzle Loaf Cake and new Milk Choc Chunk Shortbread. The Gimme S’mores Cake and Lemon Curd Tart will also make their grand return to the menu from September.

For those looking for a savoury lunchtime snack, there will be a vast selection of items for you to tuck into this autumn. We're talking a new BLT sandwich, Prawn Mayonnaise Sandwich., Egg & Cress Sandwich and Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich.

Sandwiches aside, there is the warming new Steak & Mexicana Cheese Toastie that is made using British pulled beef, spicy Mexicana cheddar cheese, with caramelised onion and mustard sauce in a chilli crumb and cheese topped bloomer bread.

Vegan customers will also be able to get their hands on a few plant-based delights, such as the Vegan Quorn Smoky Ham & Cheeze Toastie and the Vegan BBQ Chick’n Panini.

In addition to the new menu, Costa have announced that they have joined with M&S Food to become joint partners of Macmillan’s Coffee Morning, which will see them raise vital funds for people living with cancer from September 1 to October 5. The partnership will see a donation made from every sweet treat purchase in store.

Naomi Matthews, Food and Beverage Commercial Director UK & Ireland at Costa Coffee, said: “We’re proud of our new September food and drink menu. Whatever weather autumn might throw at us, we have created something that warms you up, fills you up and excites taste buds, with new items we have never launched before.

"And at the same time, selling new sweet treats which help to provide vital fundraising support for those that need Macmillan’s services while they go through one of the toughest times in their lives.”

Costa Coffee are yet to confirm the prices for the new menu which will go available tomorrow, September 1.
