When it comes to coffee, everyone has their own preferences and some people's order in Costa or Starbucks can be pretty unique.
From milk alternatives to the amount of sugar you add to your cup, it can vary a lot.
Most baristas will be used to getting some weird and wonderful drink orders, but one customer at Costa was recently left in stitches over the message an employee left on their cup after they asked for six shots.
The anonymous user took to Reddit's Casual UK forum to share a look at the handwritten note which they joked was a "very British intervention".
Alongside a snap of their paper cup, they explained: "Maxing all the options to use up my reward points prompted a very British intervention…"

On the lid of their cup, in black marker pen, it read: "6 shots... ARE U OK?"
The Reddit post has since garnered over 800 upvotes and dozens of comments from amused Brits, with some surprised you were allowed to do this and others cracking jokes.
One person replied: "OK? I'm vibrating!"
Another said: "In fairness, they have a point. 6 shots would have me spinning on the floor Homer style."
A third proclaimed: "Should have written 'U ok hun?'"
While a fourth commented: "I did not know that you could do this too your free drink".
Others shared their own quirky stories and drink orders.
Someone else wrote: "I’m ‘two extra shot guy’ at my local coffee shop and I’d usually get at least two a day at the weekends. I love caffeine. They call me that when they train new staff. In fact, if I have a little siesta I will down a shot of espresso first so I wake up with an extra zing."
A different user added: "Worked behind a subsidised coffee bar at the end of last year. Woman comes down and orders a medium americano. Okay.
"Then she says she 'likes it strong' and could I put a few more shots in it. I let her know that the extra shots would cost her and how many she wanted.
"Seven.
"She wanted seven shots in her medium americano which already had three shots in it by default. I warned her that that strength of coffee might not be good so early in the day but she assured me that she was used to the strength.
"She then came down the next day and ordered the same drink but with eight shots in it.
"Some people have a really high tolerance for caffeine. Any more than four shots and I feel like I can't sit still or concentrate."
