Costa Coffee is giving away MORE free drinks starting this weekend - how to get one

Costa Coffee is giving away more free drinks starting this weekend - but you have to act fast.

The cafe chain is handing out free cold drinks - including frappes and iced lattes - to Costa Club members.

You’ll need to scan the Costa mobile app after purchasing any drink off the menu tomorrow (July 8) via click and collect, in participating stores or Costa Express machines.

After doing this, you should then receive a digital voucher in your app for one free iced drink, to redeem between July 9 and July 14.

You can see a full list of all the Costa stores that are participating in the deal here.

The free drink offer is only available once per person and can't be used on top of any other deal.

Any extra syrups, coffee shots, toppings or coffee and milk alternatives that don’t come as standard with your choice of drink will be charged for on top.

The full list of drinks that can be redeemed are:

  • Iced Latte
  • Iced Cappuccino

The free drink cannot be redeemed at a Costa Express machine, a Proud to Serve Outlet, or through click and collect or delivery.

A spokesperson from Costa said: "From an Iced Latte or Iced Flat White, any flavour across the rich and indulgent bottled Frappé range or coffee in a can range.

"For something a little fruitier, customers can opt for a drink from the new FuzeTea Iced Tea range or refreshing Fruit Coolers or maybe a delectable Lemonade or Strawberry Lemonade."

Costa recently hiked its prices for the second time in six months - leaving its customers furious as the cost of living crisis continues.

Fans of the coffee giant have taken to Twitter to complain that their flat white had increased overnight from £2.95 to £3.30.

Others claimed their medium skinny lattes had gone up from £3.10 to £3.35 and small cappuccinos from £3.15 to £3.50.

Complaining to Costa on Twitter, one customer said: “Another sneaky price rise of 30p on my large latte. Would be good if you had notified us on social media.”

Costa says the average increase is 14p. It had already put up prices at the end of last year.

Costa has over 12,000 coffee machines in the UK and more than 1,400 globally.
