Costa has announced changes to its free coffee club that will start from August.
The app allows coffee lovers to get access to a variety of different freebies by keeping track of the amount of drinks that they've purchased. Currently, customers who buy eight drinks and scan the app can get a free drink, or they can buy four drinks with a useable cup.
From August 1, 2023, customers will need to buy 10 drinks and earn 10 beans before getting a free one. If you have a reusable cup, you'll need to buy five drinks instead of four.

Fans of Costa will still be able to get one bean for every barista made drink bought in-store and at Costa Express. The good news is, customers will still be able to claim a free cake on their birthday, as well as a new feature called 'Treat Drop'.
Each month, customers will recieve a 'surpise' which could either be something new in the Costa Club app, or an offer. For customers who collect eight beans until August 1, 2023, a free drink will still be given.
Any free drinks earnt before the date will be saved in the 'reward' section of the app. You can download the Costa app on GooglePlay and Apple.
