Cost of living savings: 2for1 entry, Lidl bargain box and a £10 Halfords voucher in this week's deals

Hurrah! They're back at school - and we've got some great deals this week to help your household budget recover.

If you missed out on the Carex and Kellogg's reduced admission offers to Merlin attractions featured previously, we've got another one this week, and all you have to do is eat chocolate to get it. There's really no need to pay full price with so many offers floating about.

If you're in for a long drive to get there, it pays to check your car is in a fit state for the journey, so take advantage of £10 off £20 spend while you're at it.

1. Kicking off with the Merlin offer, this is a great one, because you don't need to commit to a date in the future to use the voucher. Just rock up if they weather's good and enjoy the saving. To get the deal, look for promotional multipacks of Cadbury chocolates bars, and get a voucher for 2for1 entry at more than 20 Merlin attractions . The vouchers are valid for use until 31 Jul 2022. Attractions include Thorpe Park, Legoland, Alton Towers, Chessington, Sea Life centres, the Dungeons, Madame Tussauds and more. Just present the voucher at your chosen attraction when buying one full-price on-the-gate adult ticket (usually up to £53) and another person will gain free entry.

2. If you go online to Halfords and sign up to its free Motoring Club, you can get a £10 off £20 voucher to use in store or online. It can be used on any product or service (excluding gift cards), and is valid for 12 months from when you sign up. If you're shopping online, select the £10 voucher in your basket once you've added the items you want to buy. Motoring Club members also gets a free 10-point car health check looking at things like lights, tyres and oil levels, and £10 off an MOT (normally £39.99). Simply book in your car by choosing your time slot online.

3. Fancy a massive 5kg of fruit and veg for just £1.50? Then Lidl's the place for you. Head into a Lidl store and you can pick up a 5kg 'Too Good To Waste' box of fruit and veg for £1.50. Lidl say the boxes contain 'edible but not perfect' fruit and veg, which are slightly past its best, but still safe to eat. It's pot luck what you get, as the boxes are made up on the day.

4. You might not of heard of grocery delivery service Gopuff, but use coupon code 40FOR3 and you'll get 40% off your first three orders. The service launched in Newcastle at the end of last year, and claims to deliver groceries in as little at 20 minutes to your door. Delivery is normally £1.99 depending on where you live, and there is a decent range of items on its website. It's not the cheapest, so isn't designed to replace a weekly shop, but is ideal for forgotten items or spur-of-the-moment treats, and the discount code should still give a decent saving.

5. Birthday treats galore this week, starting at H&M. If If you sign up as a member via H&M's app or website, you can get 25% off one item online or in-store on your birthday via an email code. The code is valid for two weeks after your birthday. You'll also get 10% off and free delivery when you join the club

6. And finally, sign up to The Body Shop's exclusive loyalty club and you'll get a £5 on your birthday, as well as collecting points for perks throughout the year. Get 15% off your first purchase when you sign up by using code: LYBC15.
