Cost of living Ireland: How Dubliners can save more than €700 on energy bills

The cost of electricity and gas continues to skyrocket but there are deals out there if you're willing to switch providers and live in Dublin.

One Big Switch is currently running an offer for Dublin residents that could potentially save them more than €700 on their annual electricity and gas bills by switching to Energia.

The dual fuel offer could slash the cost of electricity and gas by 31% and 30%, respectively which could slash as much as €707 off the first-year costs.

This amount of savings is based on a typical annual spend of a family in a three-bedroomed house with standard electricity consumption of 4200kWh and gas consumption of 11,000 kWh.

If you're currently pre-paying for your electricity, click here to find out why that could end up costing you hundreds of euros more each year.

In order to avail of this offer, there are a couple of requirements you need to sign up to.

You are required to pay the bill by direct debit, sign up to Energia FixPay and register for online billing.

This offer is only available to new Energia customers with the discount applying for one year from the date Energia is registered as your service provider.
