A viral TikTok revealed Cory Booker, whose 25-hour, 5-minute Senate speech broke a 70-year record earlier this week, is related to a famous entertainer.
A TikToker who goes by alexmarsolais on the social media platform shared in a now-viral video on Wednesday that Booker is related to none other than RuPaul, a legendary drag queen who revolutionized drag culture with his reality show, "RuPaul's Drag Race."

Social media users joked about the potential dynamics of a familial relationship between Booker and RuPaul, with one TikToker commenting, "So being bald and powerful is a family trait 💅🏽."
"Rupaul seeing his cousin do a over 24 hour speech: YOU BETTA WERK," another user added, quoting one of the drag queen's many iconic quotes.
"Makes sense since they both serve the people," a fourth TikToker noted.
RuPaul learned about his lawmaking cousin during an episode of PBS' "Finding Your Roots." Host Henry Louis Gates, Jr. shared a long stretch of identical DNA on their first chromosome to which RuPaul replied, "He looks like my kin."
A year later, Booker appeared in a video message on the season 13 finale of "RuPaul's Drag Race."
