Stephen Reid is at risk of having his killer secrets exposed on Coronation Street - as he receives a mysterious letter.
The killer has murdered three people already, including Leo Thompkins and his father Teddy as well as Rufus, who he killed by drowning him in his own swimming pool in scenes airing last Friday evening.
However, things get tense for Stephen next week on the ITV soap, when he receives a mysterious hand delivered letter with a note in it that shocks him to the core. It simply reads: "I know what you did to Rufus."
Stephen shows off his new car next week, whilst he is also busy showing Owen and Angelique the samples for their first order from Michael and Sarah. However, he opens a hand delivered letter and is shocked to the core by what it reads.
He struggles to celebrate with the others as they drink to the fact they've bagged a second order. As he heads back to the factory, he is approached by two boys he tried to buy LSD from. They tell Stephen they sent the letter and want £10,000 from him.
They warn he needs to hand over the money - or they're going to the police. How will Stephen take their proposal?
Elsewhere, Tim is left horrified when Elaine tells him and Sally that she will be moving into their apartment very soon. He is horrified to find out his mum wants to marry Stephen and make a life together.
Angry, Tim tells Stephen he'd rather die then let his mum marry him - but is that the right thing to say to a killer, or has Tim just sealed his own fate and will he become the fourth victim of serial killer Stephen?
Speaking about the recent storyline, he told The Mirror: "And after that I think there could be more. He has a taste for it now and I think he figures that if he gets caught for three, he might as well get caught for four or five. It would be great to go down in the record books as the show’s biggest serial killer. What a thing to be known for.
"I'm forever being asked by the cast, 'Now how long are you here for?' Then they’ll come back a month later and go, 'Tell me again, how long do you think you’re going to stay?' They just want to know when they’ll be clear of me and when their future is safe! There have been rumours about Stephen killing very senior characters and they’re all cagey with me."
