Coronation Street has a bumper set of episodes in store for fans of the ITV soap next week in the run-up to Christmas.
Summer Spellman and Aaron Sandford’s secret is set to be exposed on the cobbles this month after she suffered a miscarriage and lost her baby – but didn’t tell Mike and Esther.
Elsewhere, Coronation Street star Ken Barlow could be set to leave the ITV soap after an epic 60 years on the cobbles, new ITV spoilers have revealed.
The Corrie fan favourite (William Roache) is one of the ITV soap’s original characters, debuting in the first ever episode in December 1960.
However, his future on the cobbles has been thrown into doubt amid a love triangle with former flame Wendy Crozier and his other ex Martha Fraser.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street spoilers tease a reconnection for Daniel Osbourne and his ex-girlfriend Bethany Platt this month on the ITV soap.

Summer and Aaron's baby lie exposed
Next week on the cobbles, Mike and Esther drop off Summer at the hospital for her next scan, leading to the truth finally coming tumbling out.
Not only have they lost their baby, Summer and Aaron also don’t have the money to pay Mike back for their fee.
In a desperate attempt to raise the £10k they need, Summer asks Billy, Todd and Paul to meet her and tells them that she plans to go travelling for a year with Aaron and needs £10k for the trip.
But they aren't convinced and the situation then takes a surprising turn when Mike and Esther approach Summer and Aaron with a new proposition.
The couple would be willing to forget about the £10k that the teenagers owe them, if Summer agrees to be the surrogate for their baby.
The young couple are shocked and once Billy gets wind, he is determined to make sure that Summer does not agree to this surrogacy plan.
Billy even reveals he intends to report them to the police, but how will Summer react? Will she go through with being Mike and Esther’s surrogate?
Ken Barlow exit teased
The Weatherfield lothario recently rekindled his romance with Wendy, but with Martha’s return, sparks have been flying and have left Ken in the middle of a love triangle with the two women.
The drama is set in motion when Martha breaks the news to Ken that she starts rehearsals on a new play in Hull the following day, leaving Ken gutted.
Having heard from Brian that Ken made a night of it with Martha, Wendy is then put out by the pair’s rekindled relationship.
Unsure whether to follow his head or his heart, Ken is then stunned when Martha suggests he should move to Hull with her.
In later scenes next week, Nigel announces that the theatre is flooded and the highly anticipated am dram play is cancelled.
However, a valiant Ken secures the bistro and insists that the show must go on.
When one of the leads then breaks a leg, Martha comes to the rescue and offers to take her place.
As Martha introduces herself to Wendy she apologises for stealing Ken away from her.
When Wendy reveals that wasn’t the case and she broke up with him, will Martha re-think her future with Ken? Could Ken be about to leave the cobbles after all these years?
Bethany Platt drama sparks trouble
Bethany left the soap in 2020, and in her absence she's pursued her ambitions for a career in journalism.
In upcoming episodes, it's revealed she's writing for a magazine – and a mention of her leaves Daniel's new girlfriend Daisy Midgeley unnerved.
But the news leaves Daniel feeling inspired and decides he will start writing again after his own journalism past.
Daisy’s cancer scare
There's panic ahead for Daisy towards the end of the week when she confides in stepmother Jenny Connor about her health.
Daisy reveals that she’s found a lump in her breast, leaving Daniel shaken by the news but insisting he accompany her to the doctors.
The news about Daisy sends Daniel spiralling after he lost his wife Sinead Tinker in 2019 and he decides to drown his sorrows.
Jenny berates Daniel for his behaviour at the pub and Daniel soon staggers out, before his brother Peter Barlow persuades him that alcohol isn’t the answer and that Daisy needs him.
Daisy is upset as she waits at the medical centre alone and ends up going in by herself.
But they’re interrupted when Daniel throws open the door and staggers in drunk, leaving her mortified.
Will Daniel be able to get himself sorted so that he can be there for Daisy, or will she push him away?
